Proof I don't just sit around and look at pictures of pretty men all day long...

Ness's blanket - from my prospective while I'm working on it

It's now clocking in at 40" wide and 20" long.

  1. Started on a similar idea with blues. (Prototype before I make one for my father.) I love that it's a simple enough pattern that I can haul it to my Stitch 'N' Bitch and it gives me the perfect project to speed crochet while chatting with my friends. :)
Yours looks SO SO pretty. How big are you making it?

  2. It is actually a very simple and easy pattern once you get it started. I've been known to haul it around with me when John and I hang out with our friends lol.

Anywho, I'm going to do four more rows of the pattern (blue, purple, blue, green, white, green, blue) and see how bit it is then. If it's close to 40" I think I'll just finish it and start the border.

  3. I feel like this conversation is turning into some crocheter's 900-number. What are you wearing? What are you doing right now? ;) So with that being said, I ask: what kind of border do you have in mind?

  4. I don't know. I'm thinking maybe this one: http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/granny-b.html

I'm also tempted to purchase this book on the nook and use one of them:
