WIP the Thirteenth

I've made a bit more progress on the Slytherin scarf this week; I'm a grey stripe away from it being caught up with the Gryffindor scarf. However, with the honeymoon being so close, and HTB wanting to wear this on the honeymoon, I'll probably be focusing on this scarf a lot more from here on out until it's done.

Since we're on the subject of Harry Potter, HTB and I saw it this weekend. I was not nearly as emotional as I was expecting that I would be. In fact, I didn't get teary eyed up until the end. Now we get to wait for Pottermore, and I'm actually very excited to see how that will turn out, even if it's not the Harry Potter MMO I was expecting (Now that would have been totally awesome)

Oh! Remember those engagement photos I took back in June? The one I made the Civil War era chemise for? Well, you can go see them over here!

As always, check out Tami's Amis for more Works in Progress!

  1. The engagement photos are great! You must be going somewhere cool if HTB is going to wear a scarf! And what love, to knit a scarf like that for him!

  2. Thank you! Everyone thought we were weird for wanting to take them at a ghost town, but they really did turn out lovely :)

We'll actually be visiting Ireland for our honeymoon! The original plan was to go over to Scotland, and then down to London, and we were going to be total Harry Potter Nerds and take pictures in front of Kings Cross station wearing our Harry Potter Scarves. Sadly we don't have enough time, so we've scaled back the honeymoon to just Ireland and Scotland, but HTB still wants his scarf :)
