WIP Wednesday the Twenty First

I have not made as much progress as I wanted to on the scarf this week. We have a lot of downtime in between calls right now at my call center, so you think I would have done a lot, but I keep getting distracted by other things - like playing facebook games. I'm almost done with this stripe though; I have one more row to go and then it's only three more green stripes and two more grey stripes until the end! I'm so close that I can taste it!

I can't wait to be done with this thing, I have two baby blankets to crochet and both are WAY overdue. I am thinking a nice granny square blanket would be good for one (I found a pattern for a rectangular granny square that I'm itching to try) and maybe a ripple for the other? And I still need to finish that Gryffindor scarf. Thankfully that one is a bit easier since it's just row after row of knitting, which seems to go a bit faster.

On other fronts I have started posting pictures from our trip to Ireland and Scotland. You can see the first three entries here, here, and here

As per usual, make sure to check out Tami's Amis for more works in progress!

  1. You must have the patience of a saint to still be working so diligently on that scarf. I'm so excited for you to see it done!

Also, I wanted to say I've been enjoying watching your honeymoon updates. I can't even begin to imagine how beautiful it must have been there in person.

  2. It's all I can do not to start another project while I'm working on this one!

And yes, Ireland and Scotland were SO beautiful in person. My work has another office in Cork, and I was seriously considering a job transfer for a few moments there. Sadly, the moving expenses and the cost of living in Ireland quickly shut that idea down. We're definitely planning to go back and visit again soon though!

  3. It's coming along slowly but surely. I remember how long it took me to finish my Hogwarts scarf.
