It's such a pain to work with, but some of the color ways are just so pretty and it's soooo soft.

@Sarah - Thank you. I've actually been able to get a bit of yarn time in this week since we weren't nearly as busy as the big wigs predicted. And I'm absolutely not organized what so ever. Currently, except for the cowl and the scarves, my yarn projects reside in a pile next to the couch. A pile I'm afraid to go near as I saw a spider running around there the other day, and I'm sure he's just waiting to attack.

@Julie - It's actually really easy, once you get past the knitting in the round part. If not, the K1P1 patter is just as easy.

@Sam Findlay - I'm using a pattern I found on the Leaky Cauldron craft site. It's identicle to the one in the Charmed Knits bookAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03966481358894211083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050276593848875015.post-32699548149069492172011-06-30T19:02:36.697-07:002011-06-30T19:02:36.697-07:00@witchyknits4ewe - Thank you :D
@Calophi - This G...@witchyknits4ewe - Thank you :D

@Calophi - This Gryffindor Scarf is in the round, the Slytherin one for the HTB is K1P1. Doing it in the round is actually quite nice, because, since it's just knit knit knit knit, I can do it while I talk to customer's on the phone, or while I'm hanging out with friends, and not mess up on the scarf, or loose track of the conversation.

@Delusional Knitter - LOL! It's big enough around that I could probably turn it into a hat if I wanted too :D

@Dutch Hollow - Good, it's not only me who sees it then! I'm sure it'll look more like an actual Harry Potter Scarf once I get some more rows on it and once it's actually finished though!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03966481358894211083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050276593848875015.post-6067926457339634002011-06-30T18:58:15.096-07:002011-06-30T18:58:15.096-07:00@Paula - Thank you. It's a surprisingly easy pattern, once you get past that first row in the round :)

@pinkundine - I was so tempted to just give up and frog the whole thing, but I was soo close to the end, and homespun is such a PITA to frog, that I just sucked it up, told the HTB not to bother me and counted. I had to recount at least three times to make sure I got the count correct :P

@carole - Thank you!

@Sarah - I'll probably schedule a couple of posts for when I'm away on my Honeymoon. If you're a slytherin, you should appreciate my HTB's scarf! I may have another update on that next week (I'm trying to do one stripe on one scarf, and then one stripe on the other scarf, rinse and repeat)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03966481358894211083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2050276593848875015.post-66284847717368616762011-06-29T13:59:57.806-07:002011-06-29T13:59:57.806-07:00Don't you just hate it when you lose your plac...Don't you just hate it when you lose your place in a pattern?!?!
